The movie "Being the Ricardos"

What a great movie, it is a real work of art!

It encaptured the essence of Lucy and Desi, they were two great forces that formed this giant organization that was called Desilu. Their collaboration brought to the audience the legend "I love Lucy" show, but they had issues too.
Both were so sensitive to rejection, Lucy being rejected from RKO and her family from her their home, Desi being rejected from his country, and all his family fortunes and titles. It was this fact that made them the most ambitious and the most scared, and it was shown beautifully in this movie!
Their characters were hard built, they both suffered a lot, which made them tough, Lucy tough on her co-workers to achieve perfection, and Desi has this Cuban-arm with a tough hand to manage the business, and BOY! he deserves the title "Best Boss" as his employees called him.
I also liked the rest of the characters, they portrayed Madelyn Pugh beautifully, although Bob was looking like a second fiddle to her. They also portrayed William Frawley and Vivian Vance in the deepest personification I have ever seen in a movie, they were always portrayed like minor characters with childish fights, but this movie really gets deep into their pains and interactions.
Javier Bardem impersonation (and I don't say impersonation lightly!) is one of his best, he made Desi come to life with a great understanding of his persona, Desi was always played either as a playboy or hot-blooded angry Cuban in most of the biography movies, here we see how he works, how he manages the show and Lucy!
Nicole Kidman WAS Lucy, she impersonated even the voice differences between her real-life and the show, she was spot-on in her domineering and perfectionist character.
Jess Oppenheimer was to my surprise portrayed beautifully, because his issues with Desi were never over-exaggerated, and also never denied, which most of the biographies do.
In total this movie was wonderful in getting the essence of the relationship between the characters but loused up the timeline and quotes, which to every diehard fan would be simple to point out, but without being offended because the end result was just marvelous and keeps in your seat from start to finish!
